- $0.35 Per Mile Base Rate
- +$0.05 Per Mile Bonus Program
- $0.40 Per Mile Total Driver Pay
Per Diem - You are paid 8 cents per mile of your base rate as Per Diem that is non-taxable.
Tenure Increase - On your anniversary, you will receive a 1/2 cent increase and a 1/2 cent increase every year thereafter up to a maximum of 5.5 cents.
Stop Off Pay - Any additional stops made enroute to final delivery are paid $10.00 per additional stop.
Detention Pay - Detention time will be paid at $10.00 per hour after the first 4 hours. Late arrivals void detention compensation.
Driver Unloading Pay - You will be paid $45.00 for unloading a full trailer load. A straight run-off pays $10.00 per stop. All authorized expenses are reimbursed.
New York Bonus Pay - Any driver that delivers a load within the five boroughs of New York City (Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, Staten Island, and Long Island City) will receive $20.00 in additional pay.
Benefit Package - Benefits do not begin until the driver has completed his/her probationary period of (90) days.
Owner Operator Info:
Owner Operators have played an important part in NAPA's growth and will continue to play an even bigger role in our future.
Owner Operators Mileage Rate Schedule:
Distance: Mileage rate:
- 101 miles or less $2.00 per loaded mile
- 101 - 150 miles $1.50 per loaded mile
- 151 - 200 miles $1.25 per loaded mile
- 201 - 250 miles $1.00 per loaded mile
- 251 - 450 miles $.90 per loaded mile
- 451 + miles $.83 per loaded mile
- Empty miles (dead head) $.62 per mile
Additional pick ups and deliveries will be rated at $40.00 for each pick up after the first and $40.00 for each delivered stop after the first.
Detention is paid at a rate of $15.00 per hour after the first 4 hours.
All settlements will be on a weekly basis (Fridays).
Owner operators are provided a T-Check fuel card for their added convenience.
Each tractor must carry Bobtail insurance. Proof of workers compensation is required if you intend to hire a driver.
NAPA's Tractor Requirements:
NAPA requires late model, three axle tractors that must pass DOT and NAPA inspections.
Owner Operator Requirements:
Current Tractor Registration and a copy of Apportioned Registration Invoice
Form 2290 showing proof of payment of Federal Highway Use Tax for the current year (If not a PA base plate, proof of proper permitting is required)
Insurance certificates for bobtail
Certificate of Worker's Compensation if the driver is not the owner
Owner's Social Security or Federal Tax ID Number
Permits and Plates:
NAPA requires a PA base plate and will assist with the expense according to the following schedule:
- 25% of base plate the first year
- 50% the second year
- 75% the third year
- 100% the fourth year and all continuous years thereafter.
- If you already have a base plate and choose to keep it you may, but that will exclude you from our base plate financial assistance program.
Mileage and fuel taxes will be paid by NAPA Transportation, Inc. and charged back to the owner operator via our settlement process.
