Roehl is seeking drivers for openings in our National or Regional flatbed fleets. You need to have a Class A Commercial Driver’s License, or be able to obtain a Class A CDL. No experience is necessary, and we do have training available.

You'll haul steel, lumber and machinery for a growing list of customers. Tarping and load securement experience is a plus, but don't worry, we'll train you if you don't have any.

Roehl flatbed driver compensation is based on a combination of mileage pay, tarp pay, stop pay, quarterly safety and performance bonuses, and annual mileage bonuses.

Roehl calculates mileage pay using Practical Miles instead of the old, standard HHG miles therefore paying you for more of the miles you actually drive. Roehl’s PMP (Practical Mileage Pay) can add thousands to your annual income without driving more.

Job Requirements

• Per Department of Transportation regulations you must be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a Commercial Driver’s License Class A with hazardous materials endorsement (hazmat).
• Fewer than 3 citations in the last 3 years; Speeding over 20 MPH will not be considered for 36 months.
• No DUI or any other alcohol/controlled substance related offenses in the last 5 years (in any vehicle); no more than 1/lifetime.
• Serious Traffic Violations such as following too close, reckless driving or failure to stop for an emergency vehicle will be reviewed.
• No felonies in the past 7 years, older offenses and all criminal convictions will be reviewed
• Pass an on-site physical skills evaluation of essential job functions.
• Possess a valid passport, passport card or FAST (Free And Secure Trade) Card.
